In 1995, the Lord laid a specific vision in the heart of Reverend Albert Ekwere. The vision was regarding the altered destiny of people and how He (God Himself) had made provisions for man to get back to His original plan through Jesus Christ. God reminded Reverend Albert Ekwere that His original plan was for man to fulfil God’s purpose for their lives and to live according to God’s own destiny for them, which the kingdom of darkness had calculatedly tried to alter. God gave him the mandate to guide men on how to live according to God’s own plan. Hence, the vision of the restoration of the destiny and dignity of man was conceived.
This vision was incubated for a period of 8 years and on October 17th 2004 the Tower of Destiny International Bible Church was officially inaugurated by Bishop Charles Ighele with the Founder and General Overseer being Reverend Albert Ekwere. Pastor Mrs. Ifeoma Ekwere was also commissioned alongside with him. The formal in-cooperation of the Tower of Destiny Intentional Bible Church and its Board of Trustees was done with the Cooperate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria on the 4th of November, 2008.
